How to purchase Music & Sound Effects
My Locker stores both purchased sound files (paid orders), which are ready for download, and saved selections of sound files (carts), which can be modified at any time in the future prior to making a purchase. The ability to save a selection ('pick list') of files is of particular use to Audio Network subscribers who may need to demonstrate the files selected to other members of their company.
Browse the Music & Sound Effects archives or use the Search Engine to find the material you need. You can then audition any of the tracks or effects in low resolution MP3 on the embedded flash player. If the version of flash installed on your computer is below flash 6 you may be redirected to the Macromedia site to update your flash player before continuing. Purchased music tracks can be downloaded in 44.1KHz, 16 bit WAV (.wav) format or CD-quality MP3 (.mp3) format. Purchased Sound effects can be downloaded in 48KHz AIFF (.aiff) or CD-quality MP3 (.mp3) format.
If you wish to save a sound effect you simply click on the trolley icon to add it to your cart. If you wish to save a music file you need to click the arrow icon which will take you to a page showing all the associated mixes and versions of the selected track with their prices. From here click on the trolley icon of the desired version to add it to your cart. You can view the contents of your cart at any time by clicking the Shopping Cart link on the right-hand menu. On the cart page you can re-audition the selected sound files or remove sound files from your selection if you so wish.
When you have added your chosen files to your cart, you can purchase the full quality files or save your selection by clicking on Buy/Save. If you have not already logged in, you will be prompted to login or to register as a new customer. Once this step is completed you will be taken to a 'verify order' page, where you can add a production name against the order and then choose to either Buy Now or Save for Later

If you opt to Buy Now, you will be prompted to Submit Payment to our 3rd party payment provider WorldPay to complete the purchase. After payment you will be presented with the sound files for download either singly or grouped together as you wish and zipped as one file. However if you wish to download your order at a later date, you would need to login and click on the relevant order number on the locker page to download the sound files.

If you opt to Save for Later, your order will be saved as a cart in your locker. At any time in the future you will be able to login and access the cart. Clicking Modify will allow you to continue the file selection process whereas Buy will allow you to go ahead and make the purchase and download the full quality sound files.
