Audio Network Sponsors '48hr Film Challenge'

Audio Network is pleased to announce that it has joined the sponsors of the 2003 Digital Guerrilla Filmmakers National, ‘48-hour Film Challenge’.

All teams participating in the ‘48 Film Hour Challenge’ are entitled to apply for a discounted license rate of £48 plus VAT which covers the supply of 48 music CDs and a license to use as much Audio Network music as they need in their film.

Any participant wishing to take up this offer should contact Audio Network before Thursday 14th August and they will be sent a binder containing 48 CDs of music.

The prizes also include a license donated by Audio Network to use as much music as the winner likes in up to twenty five productions over the subsequent 12 month period.

The Challenge:

The challenge is to produce a completed short film in two days. You must script, shoot and edit your movie within 48 hours and, to make it a little more difficult, participants are allocated a title and genre for their film.

The title and genres are kept secret until given out to the teams on Saturday 16th August. In 2002 titles and genres included “The Kiss - thriller”, “Many a true word - comedy” and “Juice - sci-fi spoof” and over 55 films were completed.
