Evelyn Glennie recordings now available

Audio Network is pleased to announce that the world famous percussionist, Evelyn Glennie has specially written and recorded 90 minutes of music for the Audio Network music catalogue.

The recordings include sounds from Indonesia, South America, The Far East, The Caribbean, Africa and most countries in between using over 70 authentic percussion instruments that Evelyn has collected from her travels around the world.

These recordings will be released on Audio Network compact discs over the next few months. In the meantime, producers are invited to contact Audio Network to access preview copies of any of the recordings.

The recordings demonstrate Evelyn's versatility as a Media composer.

In addition to the pre-cleared music tracks recorded for the music catalogue, Audio Network is also jointly promoting Evelyn Glennie for specially commissioned music assignments to the international film and television producers in partnership with her publisher, Faber Music.

As a world famous percussionist, Evelyn Glennie needs little introduction. Her list of achievements speak for themselves. She has recorded 16 solo albums, played with all of the World's major orchestras, has written numerous TV and drama scores, was awarded an OBE when she was just 26 and even co-wrote the hit song 'My Spine' with Bjork.
