Ray DaviesRay Davies is one of Britain's foremost musicians. He is much sought after throughout the World whether arranging, conducting, composing or writing lyrics. He has won many prestigious awards, including several Grand Prix for composition. His singles have been well placed in the charts in Britain and Japan, where his albums have had considerable success

He regularly conducts the BBC Radio Orchestra and writes for Television and music libraries, he also records and broadcasts at Pebble Mill, Birmingham and the BBC Manchester with his orchestra the " Serendipity Strings ", also the "Button Down Brass" and "Peppermint Park" groups.

To name all the artists he has been associated with over the years would be like reading a copy of "Who's Who" in the musical profession. Just a few of the names he has accompanied and/or written for are:-

Johnny Mathis, Petula Clark, Tony Bennett, The Beatles, Liza Minelli, Bing Crosby, The Rolling Stones, Burt Bacharach, Bob Hope, Lena Horne, Morcombe & Wise, Shirley Bassey, Henry Macini, Judy Garland, Quincy Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Art Farmer.

Ray is currently Chairman of the Gold Badge Awards for the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters.

He is also Chairman of the PRS Members Fund.
