After much session work, Chris joined Robert Plant as his drummer for two major world tours, recording four Platinum selling albums with him. He co-wrote many tracks with Robert, one of which received a Grammy Award nomination.

More recently Chris has established himself as one of the UK's leading television writers. He has written many TV themes including Tomorrow's World, Public Eye, Here & Now, Breakfast with Frost, Westminster Live, Election 2001, Crime Squad and Hard Cash. His commercials include campaigns for Reebok, Nike, Adidas, Saab, Lego, Sega, Diet Coke, Levis, Ericsson, Ford, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Kellogg's and British Airways.
